In November 2017, 19 of our parish’s youth and adult chaperones will attend the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis, IN with over 250 from our Diocese. In a distinctly Catholic setting, NCYC invites participants to encounter Christ, experience church, and be empowered for discipleship. It also allows our youth to meet and interact with thousands of other Catholic youth from around the country at the largest gathering of Catholic youth anywhere in the U.S! 23,000+ attendees celebrate their Catholic faith as they share in daily Mass, talks, and workshops on faith and other topics that interest them, and participate in safe, fun activities during the conference.
It costs $650 for each person to attend and we’re asking for your help. Please consider purchasing Butterbraids to help with our costs. Each of the youth are selling braids, so if you know and wish to support one of our youth, please order from them first (instead of using the form above). Thank you!
We have also noticed in our times of attending NCYC in the past, there is a great population of Homeless in the Indianapolis downtown area. We are called to help those in need, so we are also collecting items to put together CARE Packages. Please see the picture / flier above for the items we are looking to collect. Thank you for your generous help. We truly appreciate it! UPDATE: We were able to collect enough supplies for this collection that we were able to put together 61 CARE Packages to bring with us! Thank you again for your support!!!!!
